Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound Salmon fillets Fresh or thawed, the star of the dish.
  • 1/4 cup Honey Natural sweetener for glazing the salmon.
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced, adds savory depth to the sauce.
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce Adds umami flavor to balance sweetness.
  • 2 cups Rice or quinoa Cooked, serves as the base of the bowl.
  • 2 cups Vegetables Chopped mix of favorites like broccoli, bell peppers, and carrots.
  • 2 green onions Green onions Sliced, for garnish.
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds Optional, for garnish and added flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil For cooking the salmon and vegetables.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Basic seasonings to enhance flavor.

Instructions
 

  • Rinse the salmon fillets under cold water and pat dry with a paper towel. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  • In a small bowl, combine honey, minced garlic, and soy sauce. Stir until honey is fully dissolved.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Place salmon fillets in the skillet, skin-side down if applicable, and cook for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
  • Flip the salmon fillets gently and pour the honey garlic sauce over them. Cook for another 4-5 minutes, basting with the sauce.
  • While the salmon is cooking, sauté your choice of vegetables in the same skillet until tender, about 3-4 minutes.
  • To assemble the bowl, place a scoop of cooked rice or quinoa at the bottom, add the salmon on top, and arrange the sautéed vegetables around it.
  • Drizzle any remaining honey garlic sauce over the bowl, and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
